# Analytics and Reporting in watt.ma

> Explore watt.ma analytics tools for energy consumption trends, benchmarking, cost analysis, and automated report scheduling to optimize facility performance.

watt.ma Analytics turns your raw meter data into actionable insights. You can track consumption trends over time, benchmark performance across buildings or departments, analyze electricity costs, and schedule reports to run automatically. This overview introduces the four core analytics capabilities and links to detailed guides for each.

## What you can do with analytics

* **Consumption trends**: View usage patterns across hours, days, and months to identify peak demand windows.
* **Benchmarking**: Compare multiple meters, zones, or facilities side by side to find outliers.
* **Cost analysis**: Map consumption to your utility tariff and estimate monthly bills before they arrive.
* **Report scheduling**: Save report configurations and have watt.ma email them to your team weekly or monthly.

## Getting started

If you have not connected any meters yet, start with [Connect Your Meters](/monitoring/connect-meters). Once data is flowing, open the **Analytics** tab from the main navigation to begin exploring reports.
