Consumption reports in Wattsc help you understand exactly when and where your facility uses electricity. You can filter by date range, choose individual meters or meter groups, and switch between hourly, daily, and monthly aggregations. This guide walks you through creating your first report.
1

Open the Reports page

From the main navigation, click Analytics then Consumption Reports.
2

Select a date range

Use the date picker at the top of the page. Choose a preset (last 7 days, last 30 days, last month) or enter a custom start and end date.
3

Choose meters or groups

In the Meters dropdown, select one or more meters, or pick a saved group (for example, “HVAC Floor 2”). Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) to select multiple items.
4

Pick a report type

Select the aggregation interval: Hourly, Daily, or Monthly. Hourly is useful for demand analysis; monthly is best for billing reconciliation.
5

Generate and review

Click Generate Report. Wattsc displays a chart and a data table below it. Hover over the chart to see exact values for each interval. Use the table to sort, search, or copy raw numbers.
Click Compare Periods to overlay the previous week or month on the same chart. This makes it easy to spot sudden spikes or verify the impact of efficiency changes.

Save a report configuration

After you set your filters, click Save Report and give it a name. Saved reports appear in the sidebar for quick access, and you can schedule them to run automatically from the Export Data settings.
