Key Concepts
Before connecting your first stations, familiarize yourself with the three pillars of management on watt.ma:- Site: a physical location (parking lot, hotel, residence) that groups one or more charging stations.
- Station: the physical charging point, identified by a serial number and model.
- Connector: the individual socket on a station (Type 2, CHAdeMO, CCS, and so on). It is at the connector level that watt.ma checks availability and starts sessions.
Hardware Compatibility
watt.ma is built on the open OCPP 1.6J (Open Charge Point Protocol) standard. Any station compatible with this protocol can be connected without complex technical intervention. Brands already validated by our team and customers include:- Alfen
- ABB
- Ratio
- Teison
If your station supports OCPP 1.6J but is not on this list, it will very likely work with watt.ma. Contact us on WhatsApp at +212 770 238 225 for a quick check.
