RFID cards let you authenticate drivers before starting a charging session. On watt.ma, you create cards, associate them with users or fleets, and track their usage in real time. This method is particularly suited to businesses, residences, and managers of electric vehicle parks.
1

Add an RFID card

In the sidebar menu, go to Sessions > RFID cards, then click New card. Enter the card’s unique identifier (UID) as read by the station, or scan it directly from the interface if your reader is connected.
2

Assign the card to a user

Fill in the driver’s information: last name, first name, phone number, and email address. You can also associate them with a group (for example “Corporate fleet” or “Residence X”) to apply differentiated pricing.
3

Activate or deactivate a card

Each card has an Active / Inactive toggle. Deactivate a card instantly in case of loss, employee departure, or temporary suspension. The station will then refuse authentication with that card.
4

View usage history

Click a card to see the complete history of sessions started with it: dates, sites, stations, energy consumed, and amounts billed.

Card Limits by Plan

For large charging networks, use bulk import from a CSV file to create multiple cards in a single operation. The expected format is detailed in the downloadable template from the RFID cards page.
