A partner settlement materializes the money that watt.ma must pay to a third party for a given period: real estate landlord, parking operator, associated commercial operator, or advertising partner. Each settlement is based on the configured revenue sharing rules and the sessions actually performed.

Overview

Settlement is distinct from the revenue report. The revenue report measures activity and value generated. The settlement organizes payment to the partner, with its own statuses, audit trail, and approval procedure.

Settlement lifecycle

These states reflect the product target model. The current implementation may group some statuses. Contact support for the exact state of your deployment.

Administrator actions

1

Calculate and approve

At period close, the settlement moves to Calculated status. The administrator verifies the figures and clicks Approve.
2

Issue payment

Record the bank transfer or check with its reference. The settlement moves to Paid status.
3

Reconcile payment

When the debit appears on the bank account, click Reconcile. The settlement is then closed and archived. See Reconciliation for the full procedure.
4

Export the statement

Each statement can be exported to PDF for sending to the partner or to CSV for accounting. See Export Data.

Audit trail

Every status change is timestamped with the author and kept in the settlement history. Approved amounts cannot be modified afterwards: any correction goes through an adjustment in the following period.
