Revenue sharing lets a charging operator (CPO) automate the distribution of revenue with the owners or operators of the sites hosting their chargers. Every completed session feeds the calculation, and watt.ma produces statements ready to be settled at the end of each period.

Overview

Revenue sharing is a rule. It defines who receives which share of each session, but does not materialize the payment itself. Actual partner settlement is managed separately on the Partner Settlements page.
Revenue sharing reports are available from the Production plan. See Plans.

Supported models

Percentage

Revenue split by percentage between operator and owner.Example: Operator 80%, Owner 20%.

Fixed amount per kWh

The owner receives a fixed amount for each kWh delivered.Example: 0.50 MAD/kWh paid out.

Hybrid

Combination of both models.Example: 10% of revenue + 0.20 MAD/kWh.

Configure a rule

1

Choose the partner and site

In Reports > Revenue Sharing, click New rule. Select the partner (landlord, operator, associated brand) and the affected site.
2

Define the model

Choose percentage, fixed amount, or hybrid, then enter the values. You can add a fixed monthly share independent of sessions.
3

Set the scope

Specify the included transaction types: charging only, with or without idle fees, excluding connection fees, etc. Refunds and credit notes are automatically deducted from the sharing base.
4

Set the application period

Enter the effective date and optionally an end date. A new rule on the same site replaces the previous one at its effective date.

Example: Green Energy Park

On the Green Energy Park site, the rule Operator 80% / Owner 20% applies to all charging sessions.
The owner share (250 MAD) is carried over to the partner’s monthly statement, ready to be settled.

Rule statuses

Difference from a settlement

A sharing rule indicates how the split is calculated. A partner settlement materializes when and how money is transferred to the partner, with its own payment status. See the Partner Settlements page for the full cycle.
