Priority hierarchy
watt.ma evaluates applicable tariffs in the following order. The first tariff found at a given level is the one that is applied.Hierarchy explanation
If no specific tariff is found at levels 1 through 4, watt.ma falls back to the organization level to apply the configured default tariff.
Special cases
Future planned tariff
A planned tariff with a future effective date is not applied before that date, even if it is more specific than an active tariff. Make sure the validity period of your tariffs does not leave a gap.Several active tariffs on the same scope
If two tariffs are active on the same site, the same charger, or the same group, the most recent (the one with the most recent creation or last modification date) takes precedence. To avoid conflicts, we recommend deactivating the old tariff before activating the new one.Guest versus registered tariffs
An unauthenticated driver (charging by QR code without an account) cannot belong to a driver group. In this case, watt.ma ignores the “Driver group” level and falls back directly to the “Site” or “Organization” level.Concrete example: Residence Al Andalous
Residence Al Andalous has configured three tariffs on the same site:
Four session scenarios:
- Unauthenticated driver: charging by QR code without an account. The group is ignored. The site tariff applies: 2.00 MAD/kWh.
- Standard resident: identified by their RFID badge linked to the “Residents” group. The group takes precedence over the site. Applied tariff: 1.50 MAD/kWh.
- VIP resident: identified by their RFID badge linked to the “VIP” group. The group takes precedence over the site. Applied tariff: 0.00 MAD/kWh (free).
- Charger with specific tariff: if an isolated charger has its own tariff at 1.80 MAD/kWh, this charger tariff takes precedence over the site tariff, even for a resident. The resident will pay 1.80 MAD/kWh on this charger and 1.50 MAD/kWh on the others.
